Live Review Song Contest Terms & Conditions

Note: there is a LIVE REVIEW SONG CONTEST and a GIVEAWAY that are running simultaneously and have different terms and conditions. Giveaway terms can be found here. Song Contest terms are below...

1. You must record an original song preferably using one of the beats from one of the 808 Kartel Beat Pack available for this contest. It is not required to use a beat from the 808 Kartel.

2. Upload your song to either YouTube / Vimeo / SoundCloud Only (no other links will be accepted)

*Important

Do NOT copy strike or submit claims in any form on any platform that will infringe other contestants' Youtube submissions or cause their YouTube submission being taken down.

Doing so will disqualify you from the Live Review Contest & Giveaway.

If you have any concerns about a Youtube song submission you believe violates fair play, let us know.

3. SUBMISSION: Complete the Form in the song submission page.
The submission page will be unlocked together with its respective beat pack in the Members Area

4. You can submit 1 song for getting each of the qualified submit sections:

You can submit 1 song per submission form you unlock. This is the only way to submit more than one song for review.

Please Note: if you submit more than once in a section, you may be disqualified from that submission section.

5. No collaborations allowed (groups allowed) - one artist per song (note: if you are a group, the judges have to like EVERYONE on the song. if one person is lacking skills it will bring down your whole song score)

6. All languages are welcome but if the song is not in English or Spanish, please include a translation.

7. You may alter the beats any way you like including additional instrumentation, cutting, editing, mixing or other alterations.

You may need the Trackouts if you want to do this and you can get those by unlocking the Trackouts in the Members Area

8. Entries should be no less than 1 minute and no more than 5 minutes long. Only 1 -1:30 second will be play of each song. Don' waste it on a long intro.

9. You can add a hook, or just rap straight bars. Topic is anything you want it to be. We'll leave all creative decisions up to you! Impress us with your skills.

10. Submissions will be judged by our expert panel on a) Lyrical Content, b) Vocal Delivery, c) Creativity, d) Hit Potential. e) Originality

11. Try and have your submissions is April 1st, 2023 at 1:59pm Pacific Standard Time.

Live streams will be on twitch at 2pm Pacific Standard Time (PST) on April 1-3.

Due to the nature of digital products and digital downloads, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for any of our products. All sales are final. As a buyer, you understand and acknowledge that once you purchase a digital product or digital download, you have immediate access to the product and all its contents. Due to the nature of digital products, we cannot retrieve the product or its contents once it has been accessed or downloaded. All entries submitted must be original songs and shall not infringe any copyrights or any other rights of any third parties. Entrant shall, by entering, indemnify and hold 808 Kartel LLC (“Company”) harmless from and against any claims inconsistent with the foregoing. Winners may be required to sign an affidavit confirming that Winners’ songs are original and he/she holds rights to the songs. Company reserves the right to extend the entry deadline and increase or reduce entry fees for special promotions and/or entry deadline periods. Company will use its best efforts to announce the winners at the designated date, but will not be held liable for any unforeseen delays. There will be no transfer or substitution of prizes except as necessary due to availability in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. Winners agree to release Company and sponsors from all liability regarding prizes won. All federal, state, and local taxes and custom fees, when applicable, are the sole responsibility of Winners. Entrants acknowledge that all songs entered may be distributed to judges who will be selecting the Winners, and Entrants agree to release, indemnify, and hold Company, its sponsors, and judges harmless for liability, damages, or claims for injury or loss to any person or property relating to, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, participation in the Live Steam & Giveaway Song Contest. Entrants permit Company to use their songs, name and likeness for marketing purposes. Information submitted with an entry is subject to the Privacy Policy as shared on this page. By entering the Live Steam Song Contest, entrants and/or their parents or legal guardians (if such entrant is a minor) agree to accept and be bound by the decisions of Company and its judges which are final and binding in all matters. Entrant agrees to be bound by all terms of these Official Song Contest Rules and Additional Terms & Conditions as established herein.

The Studio Experience Giveaway is open only to those who submit a free or paid entry. To win a EP package in the giveaways, you must watch the live stream from the beginning to the end. By participating, you agree to be fully unconditionally bound by the Giveaway Rules, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. By entering you agree to release and hold harmless the Company and its subsidiaries from any liability from entrant's participation in the Giveaway.
